Not sure, but I tried to get Schnee's from the states at wholesale to retail in my store and I was told by them that they don't wholesale their product. I wonder if White's is of the same thinking. Weird, how can you expand your sales if you have that kind of attitude? Maybe they sell all they make and are happy with that?

I was told in Sept. '03 while hunting on Gatho Cr. that Barry Thompkins of Big Nine Outfitters has a store in which he sells them, if you know Barry, who is a good guy, he might be able to let you know how he does it....a thought, anyway.

Well, I guess it's a store of a sort. It's more like a cabin at Barry's main lodge on the Gatho and he stocks some goods to sell mainly to the guides, etc., but most of his inventory is from my store. I think that as far as Schnee's boots, he buys them for the same price anyone can get them, and marks them up appropriately for some profit; not a lot of shops on the Muskwa, Gatho, Beckman, etc. so not much competition!
