ChasseurCanadian hunting sites/outfitters in French
Hello,
I have a French friend who is thinking about going to Canada to hunt. He's thinking about either black bear, moose, or caribou. But he doesn't speak/read any english.
Can anyone recomend any hunting sites of outfitters that are in French I can give him?
Thanks!

dan belisleChasseur, I don't personally know of any (my French is very bad, I'm afraid, years of no use), but I'm sure that someone at Canadiangunnutz will know of one or two. Hope this helps. - Dan

What kind of French does your friend speak? The dialects--esp. the Acadian one--here can really throw some Europeans off sometimes!
Anyway see
http://www.bonjourquebec.com/francais/activites/chasse/index.html for the offical government site in quebec in French. (Substitute /anglais/ for /francais/ above to see the pages in English.) There is also hunting in a number of other French areas. Other areas to look at would include Western Labrador, New Brunswick, & Manitoba depending on what your friend wants.

ChasseurThanks guys!
He speaks "classic" French French for lack of a better term. What you say is true the one time I went to Quebex the French was a bit different than what I learned in France.

MurfDo a search on Google for Arcticadventures.com
They offer caribou hunts. The guides are inuit but french should be no problem . i edited this post as i had a little difficulty doing the search so here is the link .
