calgarychef1if you want to import a gun into Canada
I ran across this info and thought somebody might be interested. Leroy's big valley guns in Montana will act as an export agent to ship guns to Canada His number is 406-228-4867 no web page. So if you find that smoking deal you've been looking for he's the FFL to ship to

.366torqueWay cool! Too bad not sooner. Some good deals slipped buy in ARbay.
But thanks! It'll help for future considerations.

calgarychef1I forgot to add. I think he charges $100.00 for the first gun and considerably less for additional guns. I consisered not telling anyone about this because I like some of the deals I see too....but I couldn't to that to a classy bunch like this.

Frans DiepstratenAppreciated Chef! In return, next time I shoot a moose, you get to help cutting it up again. There, that makes it even!

But it IS good to know. I've been looking for a match rifle to build into a biathlon gun, and I've seen a lot more suitable starting material then on this side of the border.
What is the second part of the equation though... do I need a gun dealer on this side of the border too?

calgarychef1Apparently he just does the paperwork and ships it to you. I ran across it on canadiangunnutz and you can do a search there to find out for yerself. Personally I'm getting a little more serious when I look at big bores Stateside now.

Frans DiepstratenI'm already looking at importing a biathlon rifle (not a deal, but not available north of the 49th)! The dealer wants to use Questar for $250, but I'll tell him to flip it to this fellar.

archdlxI used Leroy and Denise to get my Shiloh Sharps. I cannot say enough good about them!! I could not meet them at the border when they were there so they have an agent (Danny) that will hold the firearm at his place till you can pick it up...if that's what you want to do.
There price must have went up, as it was 75$....but I remember Denise saying their cost may be going up. AFAIC, it is cheap at twice the price!!
I recommend you try them.

I have their contact info if you need it...
