Yep I have seen the wild elk there. I wish I could hunt them as a non-resident but I can't in the area I was in. I saw them frequently on one deer hunt and everyday on a bear hunt in the area I was in.

If they ever open it for non-residents I know where I am going.

How was the deer hunting?

I have hunted Saskatchewan for many years and this was one of the worst in recent years.Warm weather and no snow really slowed things down in my area.

this season was almost as bad as 1999. the first 2 weeks of the season were warm and the first week was windy. i never really saw any rutting activity when i was out. next year is going to be better.
