I just got back from a Black Bear hunt in Manitoba & the guide has recommended two places in Winnipeg to take the three bears we harvested.

Has anyone ever heard of these two or can recommend another in the area. I just want the best work done.

I had a rug done at Hawkins, they did a fine job. I believe Telesky has a good reputation as well but I don't have any first hand experience with them.

Both are OK taxidermists....it isn't hard to do up a bear rug.

I have had Hawkins "do" a deer shoulder mount, and two rugs (lynx and wolf). The work was excellent for all three, and it was done pretty quickly.
