Well it's not poaching if it's legal. Mind you, it all depends on which side of the fence you sit on. From an native perspective, all non-aboriginal people are poaching on aboriginal land. Not vise versa.

Bill LeeperOf course the non-indians do things a bit differently like paying for the priveledge of hunting and fishing. Since the money they pay goes into general revenue and some is lateralled over to the "native" groups,it could be said that the "natives" are compensated for what they may perceive as poaching. TurokPretty hard to give it a rest when you are faced with racial statements and the passing of notions like "legalized poaching".
