im back from Canada, Newfoundland, since yesterday.

I had an great hunt there!!

Newfoundland is an great place to stay and our guide Dave is an great man. You can hunt there by boat, stalk, walk or from an machan. You can hunt "allone" or "with an guide", as you want.

I allways prefare to hunt allone, at home, in Africa or now in Canada. I had so more the feeling of an adventure.

The weather was fantastic, so mutch green, green everywhere...

I was there with two friends, all of us get an nice black bear.

The price was all together (without the tickets for the plan) nearly 2.500 Euro

Amazing:
You can eat the black bear "completly" and it taste great.

The nature, the blue and the green was amazing.

The light-green was absolutly great.

The Heym SR 30, straight bolt, was the perfect weapon for this kind of hunt.

The fishing was also great and the fishes tast great.

Bear taste very good. I woudend beleave this before.

Sounds like a good hunt I eaten a few bears well taken care of bear meat is one of my favorite.

Nice report Bockhunter. I've hunted Newfoundland several times for moose & caribou, but not yet for bear. I'm glad you enjoyed your hunt....it's a great place.
