Guys,
I'm looking for the best available price on two peices of optical kit.

1) Leica Rangemaster (LRF 1200)

2) Swarovski High Definition Spotting scope w/ straight eye peice
(STS 65 HD 20-65 X 65)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Tk

Try www.riflescopes.com Good Luck.
I just purchased the Leica CRF 1200 from Cabelas for $599.00 on sale and it is considerably smaller than the model you are seeking.

There is usually somebody on Ebay auctioning off new LRFs, typically the winning bid is little over $400 USD. I bid $415 USD and he gave me a second chance to buy the item at that price even though it wasn't the highest bid. I'm in no rush to buy one so I'll likely pick one up this way prior to hunting season. Check it frequently and remember to stealth bid (placing bid in closing seconds of auction) so you don't drive the price higher than you need to.

Also, if you check leicaboutique.com in Montreal, a CRF 1200 can be had for $799 CAD. The CRF is the newest, latest and greatest from Leica. It retails for $598 USD at SWFA, so when you figure brokerage, shipping and exchange, it's not too shabby a price for $799 CAD.

I haven't looked into Swaro spotters yet as my ELITE 15 - 45 x 60mm is really all I require.
If you can live with a Bushy that savings goes a long way towards tags and gas.

Good Luck,

GordM

Doug at cameraland is great to deal with. Look on optics on this website.

www.cameralandny.com, just checked out the price for an LRF 1200 - $429USD is likely the best everyday price I've come across yet. Now if I could only convince Doug at cameraland to ship it USPS and mark the custom declaration to say it's a gift.

Just bought a CRF 1200 for $755.24 CAD tax included at Russell's (Calgary). Everyday price is $749 but with the sale of 5% off all rifles and optics it made the deal just a little sweeter.

I know you were asking about an LRF but after seeing the units side by side, I think most of us probably wouldn't mind spending a little more for the newer, extremely compact CRF 1200.
