GraylakeSaeed's hunt in Kizigo & Ugalla 2009 - DVD share list - CANADIAN MEMBERS ONLY
Hey folks,
Its that time of the year, we now have the DVD's from Saeed's hunting trip in Kizigo and Ugalla from 2009.
If you want to be on the list, reply to this thread with your real name, address and phone number, or PM me that info if you don't want it displayed for all to see. I prefer not to get it by e-mail (tough to track when I have requests all over the place). Also, if I don't get all the info (name, addy and phone #), you will be at the bottom of the list.
I will organize the list loosely based on geographical region and "first-come-first-served".
If we get a bunch of people willing to make copies again then the list will go quickly like usual.
I have watched the videos already and they are great.
Thanks,
Graylake
The list for now. Updated (june 8)

DUKNo chance for a European to get a glimps at the video, too?

CanuckDUK...the shipping costs are huge which defeats the purpose of having a "share list" (its supposed to be cheap!), and we often ran into problems with customs brokerage fees when including international folks in the Canadian "share list".
Your best bet is to try the Euro forum and see if they have (or can start) a video share list there.
Cheers

When some folks that weren't thinking sent them across the line and forgot to say they were a gift and gave them a value greater than $50.
IIRC Scruffy got stung with a pretty good bill.
And don't forget, that postage goes way up when you cross the border. Kinda defeats the purpose of a share list when it costs that much to share them.

Frans DiepstratenYeah, postage is a killer for anything bigger than a letter. Anybody claiming that Walter's jokes are worth more than fifty bucks wasn't thinking. ;-) Or they are priceless!

scruffyYears ago an American shipped me the video and valued it at a $1,000. So the G.S.T. was $70.00.

By far the most expensive video that I have ever watched...

TrackersNZYou could save a lot of shipping by downloading it to:
www.yousendit.comFree of charge, and you can be selective on who you send the link to via PM.
Just a thought. I do this frequently with large files and videos.
Yeah it takes time. For a full length DVD it may take 5 hours to Download/Upload. I usually set my computer up to do it over night.
You can pay for a faster system, if time bothers you. i.e. Upgrade your "You-Send-it" account to a paid version.

TrackersNZNot sure how anyone can tax it by this system??
