Dagga BoyTrophy walrus photo
This is one you don't see too often.
http://www.huntingreport.com/trophy_gallery.cfm?id=314If you've done everything else, or just have a desire for some raw material to scrimshaw, this could be for you.

calgarychef1I've toyed with that one for awhile. Too bad it can't easily be combined with musk ox, then you'd have something worth saving for! I think a walrus skull with the tusks hanging down is the prettiest skullmount of any trophy in the world. I was in nova scotia on a tourist boat and the captain was using a walrus skull to keep the cabin door propped open.

Dagga BoyYou're right about how the rifle looked. We got another photo from Mr. Matyas and you should get a clear look at his .375 in the newly posted photo at the same link.
http://www.huntingreport.com/trophy_gallery.cfm?id=314 It's definitely an unusual trophy. I've never seen the skull mount of one, but it must be distinctive.
