Richard WayneWOLF TAG'S
Has any one from Ontario heard what it is going to cost us for wolf tag's this year in northern Ont. This prov.gov't sure is milk'n the hunter's of Ont. ,last year it was to many deer, so we will sell you extra deer tag's(up to 6 in some area's) for 38.00 buck's a crack, extra tag's should be free if they have population problem. And now it is the wolf, $$$$$$ for a max. of 2 tag's. I feel sorry for any young people who are starting out hunting in this province, there going to have to earn 6 figure's a year just to enjoy it.

GatehouseMove to BC.
We have a 3 wolf limit, and you don't need a tag.

Sorry, not very helpful...

Like all stupid laws, this one should be ignored.

CanadianLeftyIf you don't like it, move. Ontario needs to better manage their wolf population by reducing wolf hunting (especially around Algonquin Park) not by issueing more tags.
Besides, IMHO, anyone who is not happy with killing two wolves in 1 year is hunting for profit. That should be more than enough to satisfy any non-subsistence hunter.

Rick TealCanadianlefty:
There is no management problem in Ontario. The round heeled Liberal politicians in this province have rolled over for the eco-idiots who think wolves are "cute", and have made up a bogus story that Ontario's wolves are actually southern red wolves (that never venture farther north than Arkansas) and need protection.
Richard:
I normally can't be bothered with wolves, but I didn't think the "tag" system was going to kick in 'till next year. I'll have to check my regs.
