mho220V in Canada?? Golden Rod Humidifiers??
Guys, Canada is on 220V or what?? If yes, are there any Canadian sources for the Golden Rod humidifier for 220V??
(We were just discussing this over on Gunsmithing, and I thought of you guys...)

GatehouseCanada uses 110 for most applications, but you can certainy wire 220.
Generally, household stuff that plugs in like toasters, TV's etc are 110.

WestCoasterThe site says they are 110 v only. Could not find any mention of a 220 v model.

mhoRats, there goes that option. Just shows I'm getting old, here I was thinking Canada used 220V - together with all the remaining metric stuff... I guess I should have known better. I guess that would be totally impractical sharing a power grid with the US (not to speak of buying the same appliances). Thanks anyway!

John Y CannuckMost houses are wired 220, but use 110 for everything, except major apliances like electric ranges, same as USA.
