Hotel in Calgary area?
My hunting partner and another friend will go to B.C. to hunt Mt. Goat and Moose with Scoop Lake Outfitters in September. They are planning to drive the truck north from Idaho Falls to Calgary (10 hours), and stay overnight before flying out to their other connections. They would like a hotel which would let them park for the 10 days, shuttle to the airport, and pick up vehicle when they return. Any hotel suggestions from you Canucks? Thanks.

Frans DiepstratenThe downtown Hyatt has got public parking at C$18 per day, but the rooms are not cheap!! And it's not the closest to the airport. Though not a really big drive either...

calgarychef1I suggest getting a hotel then driving to the airport and paying to park there. It's
fenced and security patroled.

Frans DiepstratenOf course... about 15 bucks a day, long term parking, in a covered parking lot.

CanuckUnless I've got my dogs with me, I always stay at the Delta Calgary Airport if I am flying out the next day. That way I can deal with the parking etc the day before, and in the AM you just walk across the access road to the departure gate.
If you want to save a couple bucks (the Delta is not cheap), I have stayed at the Radisson (a few miles away), the Super 8 and the Travelodge. The Radisson is by FAR the nicer of those three and reasonably priced. There are about a dozen other hotels in the same area.
Cheers,
Canuck
