Wooly ESSNo, I haven't read the book, but based on the description, I plan to put it on my "to read" list. It may be less a book of hunting stories than it is a social history of hunting in the Empire, which is OK!

Grizzly AdamsThat sounds a lot better.

Only 3 copies left. About time we got a deal.. I'm just reading a book a friend gave me, 35.99, in Canada, 27.00 US. Problem is some of our book dealers aren't willing to acknowledge there has been a slight change in Currency rates. "Real" US money has fallen in the world.

I think by Ruperts Land, it refers to the area granted to the Hudson's Bay Co. Ubc Press, I assume is the University of British Columbia.
