If I was paying money for it, I'd be looking at the second or third week in November.

I left the Sask a few years ago now. Is there a December season now days? FWIW, I'd aim for mid Nov. as well.

I think December would be ok, you'll just be sitting over a pile of peas anyway. The big buck of your dreams will have to eat sometime. If I was hunting I'd go for the third week in November and use the tactics usually used in the rut, such as walking, calling, watching scrapes etc.
