Exit31OK firstly. My initial emotion (fear) when I saw this video followed by this question is how safe would it be to be on foot, say with your hunting guide,PH, anywhere near this scene? What would a guide advise or do? Bug out? What? Shoot the lead buff. what?
And second. Is the lead buff a shooter? Seems to have nice horns and attitude. Is the croc a shooter? Any of those cats shooters? Would it be safe to shoot anything, with the goings on.
Seriously, I have dreamed of buff hunting and have read how dangerous it could be, but after seeing this, I just don't know. Just seeing this video, even after a few times, fear is ever present. It is something like when I see someone on a high area on television, even though I am not there, I get vertigo just the same.
Your imput please.

Frans DiepstratenThe croc didn't look like a shooter to me, but no PH would give you the shoot command. The brain is the size of a golf ball, and apparently even if you hit it, the lizard often doesn't understand it is dead.
If I recall correctly I saw mainly lionesses, though the screen was blurry; maybe a young male was there. No shooters.

BaDonkaDonkThat was an amazing video. The strength of the buffalo is quite apparent especially with the calf,it had crocs hanging on one side and lions on the other and with the smallest chance of survival the calf lived. Truly a once in a lifetime event for the tourists as well as the buffalo calf. Great video.
