justanothernorwegianBad reports on outfitter, need advice!
Hi.
I have booked a moose hunt in Canada during the rut next year. The outfitter just bought an operation that has a 100% success rate for the last years. However, friends of mine just came back to Norway after hunting with the same outfitter. They say that the new owner has no idea about what he is doing, none of them connecteed with moose, (I am reluctant to post the name of the operation at this stage). My friends got half their money back after the hunt. We have each paid a 1000USD deposit for the hunt next year. Any chance that we will get the deposit back? How to proceed?

Canuck32I would say go with your friends impression. If they had problems, I cannot see a year changing anything. Most companies will refund a cancelation deposit since you would be giving them a years notice. It all depends on what your contract says.
Best of luck
If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."
