Outfitters in BC
I am ggoing to book a moose & bear hunt this September in BC. Has anyone heard of Tatlow Mountain Outfitters in the Chilcotin area ?
Or Omineca Outfitters ??
What are the chances to get a bear or two and a moose in that area ?
Would appreciate comments as I am coming all the way from Australia.
Cheers
Pete
Pete, I'm an Aussie too. I've booked a hunt in BC for Sept. also. I would've thought that the better hunts would have been already booked out FWIW.
Cheers,
Mark.

TetachuckHi Pete
Moose are fairly scarce in the Chilcotin and what we have are quite small, but we do have a ton of bear. Omineca region is much better for moose and bear. You might want to look at Whitesail guides & and Outfitters for a fly in hunt in a beautiful area canadahunter.com

Look around at every outfitter but look up Turnagain Adventures, Tom Vince outfitter.

schmausI agree with Tetachuck I think you would be better off going further north, more moose for sure.

Marabou SlasherPlease look at Our site
www.nwaoutfitters.comWecare not in BC BUT in the Great state of Alaka. Moose are much bigger, Bears are Brown or Black. We did have a cancellation last week and do have an opening in Sept 5-15. Just check it out. I happen to be in the canadien forum looking for a whiteail outfitter for myself. Coming along way might as well kill a big Animal
I am now looking at the coastal black bears in BC. are they that much bigger ? Does anyone know anything about that ?
