MtfurySask Black Bear Hunt and Fishing Trip
I am looking at a Hunt and Fishing Trip with Northern Echo Lodge on Wapawekka Lake in Northern Sask. Has anyone hunted or fished with them or heard about them. I have talked to a few hunters who have been with them and they seemed pleased. This is my first paid hunt so I am looking for some help. Thanks

kitakoI have camped at the east end twice. The best fishing was in around june 19.You can fish off shore past the first rapids, good pike and walleye. The new regulations have fishing opening around this time. The water level is extremely high so this spot may be under water.
The guide we met was a local Cree who was around both trips. They had baits set up in the east channel near the rapids. We did see American hunters both times, i dont know how they did but we did see a lot of bear sign. This area is very unique as it borders the edge of the shield. The lodge appeared to be very modern and well equipped, i would not be afraid to book a hunt with them.
