My CZ75B in .40 S&W is one of my favorite range pistols. I can train cocked and locked or first round DA in a respectable caliber with a nice all steel pistol. Mine is one of the few CZ75B's I have seen with a polished blue finish. Well, OK, it used to be a nice polished blue but a couple thousand draw strokes later most of the bluing is gone from the front of the slide and the front of the trigger guard where the Blade Tech holster pinches. Differences from the stock pistol are an SP01 hammer, Express sights (Big Dot with tritium inserts) and wood grips since I hate the original plastic grip look on an otherwise attractive pistol.







If you have never seen or used the express sights, here are a couple of pics in an attempt to do them justice. I find they are the fastest for spittin' distance shooting, not so great for stuff out beyond 25 yards.

I guess we have the same gun! Where did you get the wood grips from and why the SPO1 hammer?

Grips are from Hogue. As for the hammer, I asked a Team CZ IPSC shooter to do a "trigger" job for me and that's what came back from him. I understand the sear on the SP01 is somewhat different from the CZ75 and it is mated to the SP01 hammer. So you change both and get a smoother crisper trigger. At least, that is what I was told.

Yup, I have one of those as well. One of the most accurate pistols I own. Actually, it is THE most accurate.

Don't know the answer Wink. I don't believe that they make the "B" model any more. That's what I was told anyway. As I recollect I bought mine via the Classifieds on AR. I did see your 155 grain loads on the other forum. Thanks.

Peter, it has been accurate with anything I put in it. It almost exclusively gets Winchester 155 Rangers now. At $15 per 50 at Cabelas, they are hard to beat. I also load those in my carry gun, CZ85 Compact.

I think it may just be because it fits my hands so well. It shoots better for me than my Glock 35.

Nothing fancy just a CZ 75 compact 40 S&W.
