FYI: Lipsey's has the SS Flattop Bisley 44 specials on sale. This probably also means that they did not sell well enough to continue production as with the blued version, so better get one while you can. They are available in 4 and 5/8" and 5 and 1/2". I'm a huge fan of just about all single actions in 44 special. This particular model is a great all weather field revolver. They can easily digest wimpy cowboy loads through loads that match some standard 44 mag ammo performance (i.e. 250 grain bullets at 1200 fps).

Lipsey's had 40 of the blue 5 1/2" flat top 44 Special bisleys in stock last week. 2 Were shipped to my dealer a few days ago.
