what is the website that you can type in your serial number on a smith and wesson pistol and find out what year it was made? i was on it before and cant for the life of me remember what it is... bewildered

Try www.smith-wessonforum.com. You have to be a member to ask questions though, but they are a great bunch of guys and can probably answer any S&W question posed to them.
