spoonbenderTaggants in Speer Ammo?
Recently purchased Speer Lawman 185 gr. for my .45 GAP, has tiny yellow spheres in the residue after firing. No harm done.....just curious if they're identification taggants for powders...something discussed many years ago.

p dog shooterIam guessing that they are partly burnt grains of powder.
No law was ever passed it was talked about but not pass I dought a ammo maker would go to the expense unless forced on to them.
The ammo market is to tight to be increasing ones costs unless one really has too.

Seen it with 2400, 296, occasionally H110, to name a few.
See it more often in factory loads though.
