butchlocsig 238
i just sort of accumulated one of these. little bit bigger than a keltec, but not much. fits well, points well, i'll shoot it tonite & see, but right at the moment it looks like the perfect carry in the pants pocket gun

butchlocOK so at age 63 i'm still learning. The gun is very very comfortable to shoot. points well and goes off. functions pretty good after only 20 rounds. now for the test. The first 2 rounds without my glasses were high, the next 3 right on. Of course I can't write my name without my glasses, but i just hate the (#*&$&. SO I TRIED IT WITH THEM ON. it was worse ()#i$#(*&screw up my sight picture, but of course its just about dark, I have a pounding headache, and 3 tylenol, 4 advil and 6 oz. of good scotch to relive the pain probably didn't help much. I tried this at 60 feet, cause i don't believe you can tell much at nose to nose distance. Without my glasses the patterns were much better, than with, but of course i was only shooting at 1 target instead of 2. perhaps i should try this again tomorrow. But in any case theis little thing is about a half an inch longer and less than a quarter inch wider than the little keltec with a thousand times better handling qualities. Now if i could only see straight. O well i'm not going to try the keltec tonite to compare. its to dark to see the target anymore.

PeterAt 60 feet I suspect that two things are working against you:
1. Short sight radius
2. Poor sights. By this I mean that there is a serious difference in the quality of the sight picture between a BoMar rear and good front sight, and the kind of sight that you probably have on your gun. My Sig 220 is a quite accurate gun, but the sights do not do it justice, especially being stainless steel in color.
Also, what target and sight picture are you using? I generally use a standard 25 yard target and a 6 0'clock hold. Failing light doesn't help either!
I wear trifocals and they don't really bother me.
Peter.

butchlocOK so i tried it again. at 10 paces the little thing shot about a 2.5" group, consistently throughout a box and a half of ammo. the white dod sights are big enough that i can see them ok without my glasses (thank heavens) no malfunctions, no problems. i think that it outdoes the keltec by 1000% sight are right on the money and the thing is made just about like a 1911, so its like picking up a little familiar friend. I doesn't shoot as well as my tricked out little colt mustang, but on the otherhand i stuck almost as much in the mustang to trick it out and this this cost. )(525)
