Can the Beretta PX4 pistol be carried in Condition One (i.e. "cocked and locked")?

The pistol fits my hand quite well, but at the Gander Mountain store I tried it in, the woman behind the counter knew nothing about firearms ("I work in the scuba section"), and she couldn't remove the trigger lock for me to try it.
