Can someone tell me what primer size is prefered.
I have some Remington factory rounds with LP primers. I didn't know they came with both sizes.

Most prefer the LP primers because that is what they are used to and set up for.

I doubt you can find any reduction or improvement in accuracy either way.

The reason that you find the small primers in some rounds is because they use a reduced lead or lead free priming compound for those places with lead restrictions.


Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page.
