larrysIt is just a 17L with a 40 barrel. There is nothing wrong, at all, with these pistols. I know the last Glock magazine I saw had them as factory pistols still, but I haven't seen any new ones, mostly first generation guns. If you want to shoot lead, you might want to invest in a better barrel for a first gen gun.

Rather-B-HuntinWhat do you intend to do with it? Competition, or just recreation?
I've had at one time or another nearly every Glock they make except for the 24 or 17L. The reason being that the 34 or 35 will provide just as much accuracy without being oversized.
If you want a .40 Glock for casual shooting or defense, get a 22. If competition is your thing, get a 35. The 24 is pretty cumbersome and not as easy to obtain aftermarket parts for if you decide to change it up a little.
