Back in the late 70's I bought this pistol for $50, someone had tried to remove the bluing, so the old girl didn't look too good but it shot very well(shot my best rapid fire score with it)
I was also shooting a model 41 at the time.
A few years back I took it to my Gunsmith for a reblue job and he did an EXCELLENT job, bead blasted the top of the slide and barrel, it looks new.
