Don't know nuttin about the NEW classics but I've been looking for a 625 45LC 5" for a while. Think I'll have to have it built.

I got several, they are fine guns except for the lock and mim parts.

They are fine guns but I would rather find a mint prelock for the same price or less. They just aren't made as well as the older guns IMO & they are not cheap. My buddy just bought a M27 Classic & paid $1000. I could have gotten him a mint M27-2 for $750 @ a local auction. That's the way I would go.
