Well the first one the guys and idiot for doing that to his friend, the second one the person firing the pistol has no concept of firearm safety or handing.

short and fat and hard to get at, hit like a hammer and never been hit back.

On the second one, I'm not convinced it's a safety issue, as much as the guy just not knowing how to handle an auto. It got away from him. Training, definitely, but he looks like he knows the basics. Shame. Hope he gets by. If nothing else he might make some money with a video of him whistling through his palm.
