10 rd Mags for 45ACP Wilson vs. Chip
Tell me what you like and your experience with both of these magazines. Im looking to choose one to shoot ipsc with. Thanks

You need to test both with your particular 1911.

I have one 1911 that will not run with the Chip 10 rounder, several others will...

This same 1911 does not like 8 round Chip mags either...

All my others do...

I carry Chip 8 rounders daily as my carry mags...

I know this is an old post, but I would go Wilson every time. I never had a Chip that worked right. There is a reason some of the competitors call them "Cheaps" instead of Chips.

There are two diff CM mags, the power mags are a bit better & work fine in 4 diff 1911s. I prefer teh Wilson's but they are damned expensive & I just replace the springs as needed in the ones I have. The 10rd mags have never really gotten me excited. They stick out of the gun & only offer 2rds for that. The 8rd mags are easily swapped. If I had one, it would probably be a Wilson.
