Well, well, a member of my little gun club in Bullion won the French National Revolver competition. Congratulations Pascal!

EdmondBravo, Pascal!
They could finally get 10 shooters in Revolver Class to have a separate match ranking.
Wink, what does the revolver class match consist of?
Peter.
Peter, I'm afraid I have no idea. Edmond may know what the course was this year, if it's always the same that is. I'm in Nigeria now but when I get back I'll ask Pascal. It was an IPSC style course with 18 stands. Here's a link in French:

EdmondA national match consists of minimum 18 stages in the course of fire.
in IPSC, match programs must be submitted to prior approval of the IPSC because the rule is that a stage can't exist twice.
Needs a lot of brainstorming to find a new course every time.
A class exists when there are minimum 10 shooters to justify a separate ranking.
quote:
Pour la première fois en France dans l’histoire du TSV, les tireurs « au revolver » répondant aux critères de la Fédération Internationale (IPSC), quant au nombre de participants, ont pu être classés.
quote:
For the first time in France in IPSC shooting, there was enough revolver shooters for a revolver class to exist
For years, I competed against shooters using high capacity pistols because there was never more than 6 to 8 shooters in competition.
But I must say, I felt really good when there were 60 something shooters using pistols behind me in overall ranking.
