early model. Had to fix the crappy side plate. I have no idea what the designers were thinking of then they came up with that.

The slide stop used to push against a pin in the frame. I guess with gen 2 or 3 there's a side plate under the left grip attached with a pivot pin. the lower fork is there to stop the plate from moving. Apparently that fork is the failure point.

You can see what happens when the plate is mis alligned. the pin from the slide stop slips off the bottom

It's a Gunbroker pistol and the fork was bent a bit. It seems to be a common problem and more so on the 10mm.
