mitchell6873Any thoughts on Corbon DPX bullets for 45acp?
Anyone have any input on the Corbon DPX bullets in 45acp? I love barnes for hunting and was thinking of using them for self defense. They are lighter but they also have a higher velocity.
I'm carrying 40 DPX now but I haven't had the opportunity to try them on anything [feral dogs, 'chucks etc] There isn't much as far as actual street use results but the do very well in all the tests ! They seem to be able to go through various barriers and still expand which many JHPs don't do .I'm sure they'll be as effective on the street as they are for hunting.

Johan van der MerweHallo Mitch
Have you ever heard of the books called Stopping power and Street Stoppers. The website is called Stoppingpower.net forums.
The moderaters there swear by them and I think they actually have reports on realworld shooting incidents.Bullets seem to expand to very big diameters and reliabily aswell.Take a look at that website,a world of knowledge from people that actually had to use their guns on a daily basis to keep us safe and defend their own lives.
I hope this helps
Regards
Johan
