Only if you plan on walking up behind someone and putting a bullet in the back of his head! These were for assassinations, not personal defense!

They used the M71 for many years, and they liked to put the entire clip of suppressed ammo in the target.

There was a operation here in Norway, the infaous Lillehammer assaniation , where 3 hitmen approached the target and gave him the great news of revenge.... But it wasnt the Black Prince, just a waiter from Algeria that the source had given them instead of the real target since he was a doubleagent , he had to choose what to give.

They did the tactically because the little .22 cause agreat deal of damage when it hits the target, and with a few rounds in the chest, he wont run anywhere....

The units that performed the asssasinations belonged to the Kidon outfit, the killer group internal in MOSSAD. In other words, experience personnel that had been out a winternight before.

They will normally get the go word from the recon teams that keep the target under surveillance before they get in the picture. When they get that , they will get the tarhet and deal with it. That rest of the teams inckluding recon, logistics and such will have traveled away whe the KIDON unit take command of the operation.

What kind of ammo they used in the .22 i dont know, but it was probably of good quality .
