Hi-Point Firearms
Just curious,
Anyone here have any experience with High-oint firearms?

My stepdad had one in .45 ACP for a couple of years. He shot it a lot and I shot it when I was home with him. He sold it and a few others in a trade deal for a S&W .40.
They go bang when you pull the trigger and you can use it for a club when its empty. Heavy slide, even the .45 ACP is blow back operated. The trigger was heavy but kept the same pull reliably.
It wouldn't be my first choice for home defense but I'd call it adequate if you are on a budget and shoot it ocassionally. I wouldn't carry it due to the bulk and weight but it was reliable enough.
