br6ppc1New Glock G20
I found and picked up a Glock 20 Friday at local gunshop. I already had all the dies and stuff for reloading including brass. From the powders and primers on hand, I started working up loads. The best accuracy came from, of all powders on hand, Alliant Herco. These groups were with 8.0 gr and Fed 150M and Rem 2 1/2 primers. The bullets were Hornady 155 XTP's. The groups were at 25 yds off a rest. The targets are Highpower SR-1 repair centers.
I bought a Blackhawk tactical holster for it.
I like my new G20 so far.

Kyler HamannCongratulations, the 20 is a nice gun. Now you need it's little brother, the G29 to compliment it. The G20 magazines fit in the 29. Really nice pair.
I've loaded for the 10mm for about 20 years. It's a really neat cartridge. Just recently I've been turned on to 800X. The one big caution is that it is unsafe to meter, but if you weigh it out the velocity and accuracy are amazing.

I tried 800X years ago and just gave up on it.
I just do not weigh every pistol round if I can't meter a powder I don't use very offten.

Bill/OregonThat's some nice shooting with your 10 mm. I have a friend who loves the 20, and he has an aftermarket barrel that he can drop in to safely shoot heavy cast loads from Double Tap in. Makes it a very useful carry piece in bear country.
There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.

PeterAny time you get 10 ring accuracy at 25 yards with a non target pistol is good.

richjvery nice. The only way I could do that was to tune up the trigger (3.5lb)
I just started using Herco in the 10mm.

br6ppc1Thanks for the replies. The G20 can shoot better than me. I am happy with it and with the load.

br6ppc1Bruce,
I really can't give you an unbiased answer. For me, It's no problem recoil wise. Of course, I think a fun day at the range is a 50-75 rounds of heavy 44 mag 320 gr WFNGC's and the same amount of 480 Ruger 410gr WFNGC's.
I can tell some difference between 135 gr loads and 200gr loads. The 10MM's recoil for me just affects my sight acquisition. You can get back on target a little quicker with the 9MM. That's the major difference for me.
If you want a real fun gun, get a 480 Ruger SRH or a 475 Linebaugh BFR. Now those are "Fun" guns
