Glock 17 or Sig 226 ?
Looking for a pistol in 9mm.
The Glock 17 and the Sig 226 have high marks for best of this and that.
I would like to buy a 9mm pistol and not be sorry for a change. What could be any better in 9mm out there?
Thanks

There is, as I recollect, quite a difference in price between these two guns. I own a Glock 17 and 17L and love them both. The 226 was just too expensive for me.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

I carry a Glock but the best thing to do is to shoot both and see which one feels the best.

They are both great so see what you like best

I have owned both of these pistols, can't say I have a clear cut favorite. They both are accurate, function perfect, and both feel good but considerably different. I am more partial to the Glock trigger (have a 3.5 lb. connector installed. Leopardtrack has the best advice, shoot both and see what features work best for you.

Good point and thanks for reminding me. I have the 3.5 trigger as well and I like the constant trigger over the Sigs Double/single action pull.
I also like the way the glock sits low in my hand, but again that's just me.
