Hunting with 454 Raging Bull

Hi,looking to buy a 454 casull Raging Bull for hunting purposes.Can you tell me if it will be better having the 6 or 8" barrel?

I find the 8 inch barrels bit long but each to his own.

My first choice is the 6",how far is it accurate and if one compare it to the 8" how many fps will one loose with the 6"?
