.....I stumbled on this while searching Cabela's online gun library and called about it yesterday. It is in still in the Ft. Worth, Tx store as of then. It is a blued (I think, by the time we got to that point on the phone I had decided I didn't want it) old model vaquero that Reeder has converted to .32-20. Therefore it has fixed sights which is why I didn't buy it. Since this was all online and the pistol was set up for SASS it might or might not be in good shape but the verbal description sounded ok. Has some engraving, which considering the quality of some of Reeder's engraving might or might not be a good thing. Only real problem I ran into on the phone was the prior owner's SASS handle was engraved on barrel "Johnny Frio or maybe Rio?". Still if anyone wants a fun caliber for a reasonable price they might check this out. Cabela's wants $899 for it. Reeder currently charges $1295 for the conversion plus your gun.
