This is the 10.5" Monster that will be used for Antelope, Deer and Elk out to a max of 200 yards.
(Same ballistics as a 45-70 Marline carbine w/300 gr bullet).

Leaning toward a fixed 4X (simple, rugged) but have little experience with scoping large handguns. (Once owned a TC Contender in 35 Rem w/2x Leupold to "beat" NY state's deer hunting rules).

Experience and suggestions most appreciated.

I have been using a Leupold FX II 2x20 on my 460. It has stood up well to the recoil. Eye relief is excellent.

I believe an FX II 4x28 would suit your needs better. I have been looking to trade my 2x20 for a 4x28.
