Jim ManionFrom the Army Navy description on the dealer's web site:
Checkering has been freshened up & action body has been cleaned to white - barrels have probably been re-blackened, as well. 03 February 2007, 10:51
Paolo9,5x73Words like 'appear', 'probably',....are a "kiss of death".

Dutch44No "Kiss of Death". Gun was refinished and is in great shape. Bores are great and the gun closes like a bank vault. Accurate with 71 grains of RL15 and Kynoch 400 grains. I would have kept it but I'm having a sidelock built in the same caliber. That's why they are for sale.
Show me a hundred year old DG that hasn't been refinished or "freshened" and I'll show you a gun that will cost considerably more than these two. Greg will forward more photos of the A&N's watertable and breachface if anyone is interested.
