BigFiveJackI Am Now Starting To Aquire Components To Handload
So men,
With my 450/400 *3 & 1/4" NE calibered Osborne, I have some Hornady brass on the way. Is there ONE specific
PRIMER that I should opt for?

470EvansJack,
Fed 215s would be the proper primers for a 450/400. If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest you get Wright's book or a copy of one of Seyfried's articles in DGJ on reloading the Nitros.

Something new to me! I didn't know Hornady was makeing the 450/400NE 3 1/4" brass. I know they make the 450/400NE 3", but many of my friends will be happy they are makeing the 3 1/4" brass as well!

Dutch44I use Fed. 215's in mine but any magnum rifle primer should do the job. Note that there can be a difference in bullet impact by switching primers.

Thanks for the information men. A friend with an FFL near me is having
the Hornady brass shipped to his place, and I'll pick them up upon arrival.
