I think the same rifle is being offered on Gunbroker, search "9.3x74R". Engraving and gold inlays pretty awful.

There are presently 2 kinds of Browning o/u rifles :

CCS 25 : the genuine one, handmade in Belgium on a specially reinforced and heat treated receiver. Listed today at 7803-12879 € (9360-15476 USD), according to grade. Of course, you may also go full custom, but then.....€€€€€€€ !

CS 525 : industrially made in Japan on a B 525 20 ga shotgun receiver. Price : 3292-3691 € (3950-4428 USD). Barrels are adjustable via insert rings.

A side by side comparison tells it all, of course. This is my CCS 25, in 9,3x74R, engraving signed by J. Baerten, FN's former master engraver).

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

I was looking through there catalog -- please tell me I misread the bit about $3500 for scope rings...Otherwise, what would be your opinion about a browning rifle vs. a searcy classic?
