Just thought I would take a moment to share a good experience with you all. We so often hear or read of the bad folk, and too rarely of the good ones.
As you know, I liberated a bunch of rarely used rifles and revolvers and pistols from my safe in order to make room for a Verney-Carron 600 Nitro Express and a Chapuis 9.3x74R. Before embarking on this endeavor, I had contacted a few people with DR experience and purchases and a few with 600NE experiences in particular.
Got lots of great feedback and a great deal of support for Ken Buch. Shot Ken a few emails - to which he always replied in near immediate fashion - and ultimately decided to take a 200 mile ride to his place. Problem was, on the day we agreed to meet, I needed to be there and back by 11:00AM - that meant meeting him at 7AM.
Ken responded "No problem" and welcomed me in. He had a spread of fine Doubles surrounded by mounted heads of African game on all walls. We shot the breeze for a while, I hefted, shouldered and aimed everything he had and then we went for the "closed eyes", blind "shoulder and aim - What feels best?" test to decide which I would take. Ultimately I left my deposit on the 600 NE that now resides in my home. We chatted about doubles, about some of the folk with whom Ken has dealt; some who I know only from AR and some I have met around town here in NJ. He was generous with his kind words about every one of you.
I don't think I was back in NJ for more than an hour before I emailed Ken again and in fact, it might have been when I stopped for gas about 30 minutes into my drive. I wanted to know about getting a Chapuis 9.3. Ken said he had what I wanted and then made me a deal for both the 9.3 and 600NE that I simply could not pass up.
I couldnt be happier. A great pair of double rifles, a great experience meeting Ken, a lot of knowledge and advice from you folk both here as well in PM and emails and a new resource in Ken and KebcoLLC.
Great guy, great deal, great doubles.
Thanks Ken,
Paul

nitro450expAll,
I bought a Husky 9.3x62 from Ken for my father.
I needed it shipped to FL and needed its arrival to coincide with mine.
Ken made it all happen flawlesly.
He gets the "Good Guy" seal of approval from me also.

DoubleDon100% CORRECT!!
One will never find a guy more easy to deal with or honest than Ken.
I have purchased about ten guns from Ken over the last six years. Over that time I am proud to say that we have become friends.
A few weeks back I received my bespoke V-C .500 Nitro which turned out great. I will post some pix when I get a chance. I have on order a bespoke V-C .577 Nitro and just this morning Ken and I chatted about putting together an order for a bespoke "baby" V-C.

KEBCO and the fine folks from Verney-Carron in France have been a pleasure to deal with.

JudgeGI bought a Merkel 141(e) in 9.3x74 from Ken at a great price. I was happy to find him in Dallas and finally meet him. I recommend him highly.

Frank BellerI haven't bought anything from Ken yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time until I do. I did meet him in Dallas this past January & totally agree that he's a very fine person, & like I said, I will be a customer of his before long.

BigFiveJackKen reached out to me when he learned of my need to get gun parts sent to
{
www.ttproctor.com } Trevor Proctor in England. He steered me to a guy
who was a champ at the process of exporting. Ken got not a cent out of it.
But he earned my trust, and if I hear of some one who wants what he sells, I
direct that shopper to Ken. If I ever can afford a 600 NE double, it will likely
come from him.
