This is a scope mount in the white for a 470 Merkel We are in the process of setting them up on cnc.

I am only a lowly bolt trash shooter, but I like to ask a question. I mounted a scope on my cz550 using a sub base (similar to your product in geometry but way lower quality) and std rings. The net result was a scope about 1/2 inch higher than I would have liked.

I am looking at adding a leather cheek pad/rest to raise the height of the comb for scoped shooting. This must be a common problem when adding a scope to a gun stocked for open sites, so I would like to ask for advise here.

Can anyone suggest a good looking leather product, too raise the comb for proper stock fit.
