CCMDocHi Don,
Needed something for my dad to use in Namibia this November.

Told Ken as long as the bores are excellent and it locks up tight as new, to hold it for me until we return - whole family together celebrating my parent's 50th, my 25th and youngest sister's 7th wedding anniversaries. Really didn't want my English or French Mastiffs to pick it up - it would be twisted metal and splinters in 5 seconds.
Might just need to have scope mounts put on for Pops ...

CCMDocJ.J. does claw mounts starting at $800.
I emailed Paul Chapman at G&H asking if they install
EAW Recknagel (thanks Don for the correction) swing-off scope mounts on V-C doubles ...
I had Recknagels on my Chapuis and really liked them a lot.
Will post his response for those who might be interested.
