Alaska Double Rifle Shoot--August 13, 2016

As the title reads, our next double shoot is the 13th of August, Birchwood Range, 10am. Lunch at noon, and resume shooting until our shoulders hurt.

I tried to set one up for June 18 but Rob is out of town and I'm not a member of Birchwood so I can't reserve the shooting stations.

It is impossible to please everyone on the choice of a date so I hope this works for you. I will email all on my list and ask the regulars to bring food and drink items.

All are welcome. Out of staters (flat landers and city folk) as well as those from other countries and all AR double rifle men are welcome. You don't need to bring a double. You don't need to own one. Just show up and shoot and see some of the finest rifles on God's green earth.

PM me if you are coming so I can plan on food.

Well, looks like we will be in and out of Anchorage 8/3-5/16 before your shoot.

If 8/5 remains "clear" we will plan to drive up to Willow and say Howdy if you will be at home.

Sounds good.
We are picking up a few items for the trip now and will stay in touch.
BTW - is the weather usually dry in early August? We are thinking of bringing along light rain jackets just in case.
Also no telling what weather may occur on the cruise down to Vancouver.
