Heym; noticeable on TV

eezridrHeym; noticeable on TV
I try and watch African hunting programing when I can. It appears to me that a vast majority of the time a client or PH is shown with a double rifle, it is a Heym. It is easy to identify by the way the action mated to the butt stock.
It just may be coincidence but it seems the Heym is a very popular gun by those who actually go to Africa with a double.
EZ
It's only because you can recognize one.

BigBBearI have noticed this as well. Before commenting I am a huge Heym fan, have had 2 and will probably own another. I think you see these mostly in the Boddington/Carter shows because Ivan is a big Heym fan and they seem to prevail with his and Chifuti clients. If you think of shows with Tony Makris shows and Dangerous Game shows with a lot of Jeff Rann they use more English doubles and yes I agree with Will that most of us recognize them and they do have a unique stock to receiver profile which is easy to recognize. Pay attention and there are many other doubles out there. For example with Johan Calitz there are often Searcys or what appear to me to be Searcys.

ozhunterIf you purchase, buy, borrow or steal the Danish line of DVDs it will appear that Kreighoff is the only way forward.
Purchase? Sober up, dude.

By getting them into the hands of those with influence.
No offense intended. Good marketing and a good rifle.

I was probably sorting out my tackle box at the time.

One has to do something to keep this interesting!
