Eland SlayerIncredible new store in Houston!
I'm surprised nobody else has posted anything here about this yet.....but there is an absolutely incredible new store in Houston that just opened, and just so happens to be across the street from my current home in Houston (I literally walked there).
It's called Gordy & Sons Outfitters.
My wife and I attended a Texas Monthly BBQ & whiskey tasting event there last week. I know there are several other high end gun stores in Texas, but these guys have taken it to an entirely different level. To say I was impressed is not quite the right word. I have never been inside a store with the overall quality of this place. They sell extremely high end firearms, clothing, and fly fishing gear. Here are a couple of the highlights that just blew me away:
- They are the only Purdey dealer in Texas....and according to the owner, whom I spoke to in person, they have more Purdey inventory than anyone else in the country.
- They are also a John Rigby & Co. dealer.
- In addition to their standard Beretta, Browning, Blaser, Anschutz, etc. guns on their open showroom....their custom vault room houses approx.. 450 guns extremely high end guns, with an entry level price point starting at $15,000 (but even more unbelievable is that the total value of the guns in the vault room approaches $30 million!)
- Interior designed by Julian & Sons (yes, the trophy room guys)
- Beretta Diamond level dealer (able to carry Beretta SO series guns)
- Custom fly casting pond on the premises stocked with Largemouth Bass and Peacock Bass.
Here is a link to their website:

(Note: My only complaint is that they do not carry Heym as of yet)

DuckearSounds like a fun place to visit, but I'm afraid that overhead will be reflected in their prices!

............You hit the nail on the head! They wouldn't even let me in the door! Their beginning price is beyond my top end!
Must be nice to be an oil baron!
